Stayed for two nights in a pull thru. Very pleasant campground. Tall trees for shade. Staff very helpful. Gravel sites with grass for pets. Lake close. Quiet!

Nice Area, Staff Needs Training
The park is nice with lots of room. I made reservations well in advance and was given a site for a small TT, we are in a 37 foot rig, staff made changed to a bigger site but only 30 amp, offered to move us again but we opted to stay set up. Sites are not very level, lots of big pine trees that are just in the wrong place (slide outs). Laundry and showers are fantastic. All in all a nice park but too expensive.

Good Overnight But Pricey
This was our last night on the way back to WI in March. We wanted to go as far north as possible but still find an open park with FHU so we could empty the tanks before getting home. I am ok with paying for hookups vs. staying in a parking lot but $47 w/Good Sam is a bit much with no people on site, and no amenities available. Honor system check in worked ok. Quiet and close to town. There is a Wal Mart on the way in from the Interstate. Sites were barely level enough to not unhitch the trailer. We would stop again in the future.

Nice but very over-priced
Nice small park with beautiful views, while very tight at some spots especially for bigger rigs or tows. (Minus 1star). Most lots are gravel and not level either up/down and/or side to side. A few are concrete slaps and appear level. - Lots are under trees with plenty of shade. No attendant, paid via envelope and yet wanted 52$ a night in off season, barely a rig there. Absolutely not in sync with park and amenities. (Minus 1 star). Did not use bath, showers, and lounge. Very little street noise audible during the quietest of nite but not a bother. Wi-Fi good or very good. Cable unknown but looked broken at our site. Poor antenna reception, 6 channels, only NBC local. Would stay there again but for the price.

Cutest Place EVER
My husband and I stopped here on the way home from picking up our brand new 42' 5th wheel.. they were very accommodating and the place is so absolutely clean over every inch of it! The showers are very warm, the the toilets are clean, the sites are nice, the people are friendly, the store is fully packed with goods... very impressed! You can even get pizza delivered to your camper. There's a small pub that has a small food menu and drinks. They offer cabins also. But my biggest thing is how clean it is!! So CLEAN! Loved our stay.(We have 6 slides and had no problem fitting in our space)

Wooded And Cozy
Lots of large trees so don't plan to use your satellite TV, but i can live without TV for one night. Check in was easy, our spot was level and easy in and out. They offer some food and drink, but we ordered from one of their advertisers for Italian food, and it was awesome! I would definitely come back!

Nice
We did a stop over here on the way back home. It was very nice. Clean bathrooms. Staff was so nice and helpful arranging after hour check in. We got a pull through site so we didn’t have to unhook. It was really easy to get to off the interstate. Quite

Little Jem
After having a bad experience at the koa. In Casey Illinois we decided that we would not stay and moved to a new park. After checking the app. Park advisor we found this little jem. Staff was extremely helpful and made us feel welcome. Some say the site's are tight but we have a 39ft 5th wheel and had no trouble navigating. Would skip the KOA unless you like rude people that don't care if you stay or not. Only a 30 min. Difference between them

Cable TV is terrible & the office doesn’t know why. Why advertise it if they won’t get it fixed. Lots of trees and not a lot of room to maneuver if you have a class A. Sites are close together. I will not stay here again.

Good For A One Night Stay
Clean facilities, and park. Very nice staff. Limited big rig spots, but the spots are more than adequate. Tall tree, so no satellite capability, but quite. Would stay again if passing through.

Nice Place
The office closes early in the day around 5/6pm. We checked in after that, they had the information waiting for us on the office door. The bathrooms were the cleanest I have ever seen a campsite bathroom! Very nice. The laundry room has 3 washers/3 dryers. The campsite is very shaded and in gravel. Very quite. We stopped for one night on our way home from vaca, it was great. I will stop again. Nice playground for the kiddos. They give military and good Sam discounts.

Great Pit Stop Off The Freeway
We stopped here for a night on our way thru. Easy to get to. Close to shopping and gas. Quiet campground. Office staff very friendly. Does have a lounge and some food and supplies. Wouldn't stay for a long period of time but wonderful place to rest for the night.

We’ve traveled the i70 corridor a bunch. We stopped because of rain as we are only 3 hours from home. We try new places as we can and this place is great. Jennifer at the reception desk was warm and welcoming. They have a sort of happy hour daily. Sites are reasonably level. I hope you agree when you stop in.

I’m very pleased! Large enough comfy place! Nice park for the kids! Lakes ok? People canoeing! Nice bar w/ couches, pizza,& gaming. Nice people! The stores better than expected! Fits all your camping needs! We can have a Campfire here. The roads a lil crazy getting in here! It’s also about a mile from Walmart, & a big town!! Highly recommend!

Nice Staff
We were heading north with the motorhome pulling a car on as dolly. Plus a pickup truck pulling a pontoon. Nice site long enough for our rv and additional parking for remainder. Only one night and raining but after reading the other reviews we might come back.

IL Suprise
We stayed here in March 2018 on our way to TN. The weather got in the way of fully enjoying the park (35 degrees & lots of ☔). The check in was quick and the park was quiet this time of year. The employees were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a nice site (full hookup) with a deck overlooking the lake. Many sites had decks built on them. All of the other sites were gravel and with all of the rain I saw very little standing water. It looks like it could get very crowed and tight at CLW in the busy season. There is a small entertainment room (lounge) that was closed for the season. The bathhouse and washrooms were spotless (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐). There is cable, internet, propane fill, dump stations & general store. Effingham's off the highway shopping area is about a mile from here so if you don't want to cook there are plenty of places to eat and shop. If you tent camp or hybrid camp? Be prepared for a torrent of train horns throughout the night. I guess to some that is soothing?

Most Awesome
We just stayed 1 night but wished we could have spent more time. Nice lots, full service, quiet, clean, bath house incredibly clean and nice, lounge is cool, lake is pretty, and its almost on top of a super exit with wal mart. Anyone thinks wal mart is just as good, has other issues, this park is great.

Clean - Decent - Our Power Went Out
This place is clean - they kind of trick you with their website thinking the whole view is of the lake but that's really for a specific area. I didn't try the facilities. Our power went out and luckily we were able to hook up to our neighbors power and it was fine. Otherwise we would've been screwed in the heat ! OK for one night stay, around the corner from Cracker Barrel, menards, lots of other places.

Very Pleasant
Very nice campground. Mature trees. Plenty of roomy, pull-thru sites. Spotless bathrooms. Excellent office staff. All gravel, but pretty level. Beautiful small lake for fishing and boating (5mph max). Cable tv hook-up at each site. We'll definitely be back.

Forget The Walmart Slam
This was a NICE park. Drive in sites, all rock N gravel, a nice evening pub , and a sweet common grill patio for guests. We stayed two nights & found laundry and shower baths superb. Convenient to shopping, would stay again.

Stopped for one night and found they do not have cable as advertised. Brochure even said cable was not working. Could not get any network channels over the air waves. Internet did work well though. Otherwise a very nice campground.

Wonderful Place!
Stayed here a couple times, enjoyed each stay. Some sites are rather small , width wise, but we were there for softball once and couldn't promise a check out time on Sunday, so small space was fine for working with our tournament times. Other stay we had a very nice roomy site. Lounge on site with darts, tv's and a bar, well kept grounds, full hook up, Wi-Fi and basic cable hook up. Hands down the cleanest shower housesb you will EVER see. Able to fish without a license. Laundry facility. Staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. Highly recommend!

Wonderful campground. Shady, level, gravel lots, well spaced, quiet and peaceful. FHU pull throughs. Excellent bathrooms, cable was out but wifi was excellent. Private lake, which guests may freely fish. Lovely owners. Wash and wax service available on-site and bar/lounge for guests. Good Sams disc. Wonderful Amish communities within 50 miles for visiting. We camped in a fifth-wheel....and would return.
