Full Hook Ups
Plenty of shade, lots of electric sites , some with water some with not. We camped on a Monday night on our way home to Kansas. There are a few full hook up sites. If you don’t want to cook, there is a small cafe on the lake near the boat launch. No discounts if you are from outside Illinois. Surprised that the full hook up site F5 had only 30 amp but we were still comfy.

Memorial Day weekend. Was without power 50% of the time. Friday night it was Ameren, but the rest of the time it was the park. DNR was polite and tried, but apparently the state just needs to rewire the park. We were in C and D loop. Sites are large and nice shade. Get the power fixed and we would come back.

Several dump stations, plenty of room between camp sites, lots of walking trails around lake, showers need cleaned, bleach water or something, they lack attention, otherwise great time here.

One Night Stop
Sites are electric only. Water available to fill your fresh water tank around the park. Lots of nice sites, very peaceful, and lots of places for kids to bike, but was hoping for a view of the lake or close access and didn't see any sites like this. The bathrooms were in need of updating around the campground except for maybe the main one. The dump station hoses are in great need of work. Hoses require to people to operate and leak, also need a trash can nearby.
