Nice Place!
Nice level sites with water and Electric.
Pull thru sites along the waters edge and some on the upper loop.
First come first serve. No reservations.
Very clean Vault toilet bathrooms, nice asphalt walking trails meander thru the 2 campground loops with kiosks telling about the area.
No shade trees but it was cool enough when we were there end of July. Many of the sites do have a Canopy over the Table.

Outstanding!
We loved it here! Large spots and plenty of room to spread out. The weather was beautiful in mid June. Rates were $15 per night if you used the electricity or $10 per night if you did not. First come, first serve and the place fills up very quickly. We will definitely be coming back here.
Camp host was very friendly and helpful. Fresh drinking water at the dump station may be out of order for a little while as someone ran over it the day before we left.
Vault bathrooms were extremely clean. No showers.

Nice Campground
We stopped here July 15th thru July 19th 2017. Senior Interagency pass accepted, it cost us $9 per day. Water and electric (30 & 50 amp) at all sights. All sights are very level. Lots of room for big rigs. Several pull thru's along the lake. Dump available. Shade cover at numerous sites. Nice boat ramp. Vault toilets, very clean. Metal picnic tables at all sites. First come first serve. Group picknic site in campground. Don't forget to look for the "ghost horse of Mackay Reservoir". Information available about the ghost horse available on the internet. We stay here often and have spotted him several times, he roams the hills on the West side of the reservoir. Open in the winter because of ice fishing on the lake. No water in the winter but electric available. Verizon 3G and occasionally 4G.
