Things Have Changed

No longer first come first serve. No staff at park. Host not able to help. Need to call or go online to make reservation. No cell service, poor WiFi at the bathhouse. Like all Georgia parks there getting lazy. Need to go in town to get firewood. On a good note the park is very nice and pretty lake with swimming. Need to pay the parking fee even if you pay to camp.

Great Get Away

Love this park. Lake for fishing (it is a NO wake lake) and a beach for swimming. Lots of trees for shade. Very clean. And now we can make reservations on line. Nothing negative about this park but I do have a negative about pet owners not picking up their dogs mess as they walk around the park.

Wonderful campground. I have 3 negatives. 1 - absolutely no cell service (AT&T). And 2 - no wifi. 3 - you can't make reservations. It's first come first serve.

We come to Rocky Mountain several times a year and love it! Family friendly, clean and peaceful. Great get away.
