Witnessed A Crime Did Not Stay
Our reserved site was occupied when we arrived. No host on duty, but we were approached by a man who told us to go occupy another site. This all seemed very strange. We also witnessed the same man taking all the tires off an RV. We later found out he stolen the tires. We were able to talk with a very nice representative of the parks and rec division, but we decided not to stay at all especially after she told us that tires being stolen was a common occurrence and squatters were also common. Hard pass with a family.

Bathhouses
Beautiful park. Extremely difficult to book online. Can’t book by phone. Can’t book using an IPhone, Safari app
Only complaint is the restroom/bathhouse
Only two of 4 are accessible. Left front permanently locked. Right rear keypad dead
Front right. People are using brown paper on a roll for toilet. Toilet very dirty. No toilet paper, no hand soap in dispenser, no paper towels by sink, floors and shower area floors very dirty. Trash strewn about. No shower curtain
Left rear
Same as above but has a shower curtain. Old floor heat with hand patched in electric cord, and one broken leg. Overhead fan cover dropping down
We would not shower there as the facilities are unclean and possibly unsafe
Called as soon as we arrived. After two days nothing changed. We’re told it was reported
The cleaning company was blamed. They should be fired

Nice Location
Great wooded, rural location right in the center of the city. We stayed at Diamond lakes for one week very peaceful location. We are headed back for another week's stay.
