Nice Campground For Families

We always stay here when visiting family in Columbus. This campground has lots of things to like: spacious sites, a pool and splash pad, and a small playground. It also has paved roads that branch off into various areas of the facility. Great for getting in a family bike ride without worrying about traffic. There's also a laundry room and several shower facilities in different areas of the campground. Lots of trees here as well, and we've never been here that we didn't see many deer wandering about. It's a nice place to stay.

We were driving through the area and needed a place to stay with hookups. It was after hours so no number to call and I couldn’t find any info about whether or not we could stay. We took chance to drive to this rv park, but alas, only military associated folks can stay. I also noticed on their sign that they have a 2 dog limit. While it was dark when we drove through, it seemed very quiet and nice.

So we’re used to military camp grounds with less-than-maintained areas. So naturally when we pulled into this one we expected about the same. However, the bathrooms were super clean and very nice. Roomy showers and ample facilities. Also there is a lot of space between sites. Perfect for long term stays as well. Fire pit was not much to be proud of but that is the only complaint I would have. Enjoyed my stay a lot.
