Hidden Gem!

I couldn't believe our luck! A very reasonably priced RV site, level, FHU and spacious! This place is well run and maintained meticulously, if I had known it was here I would have stayed much longer! Thanks for being here when we needed you!

My wife and I stayed there twice last year (2022) and more or less call it our home campground. There are two laundry rooms and “comfort” stations that are clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful. Should you get mail or packages, they will call you and let you know. The grounds are well maintained. The last time we were there, the pathway lights were being replaced by LEDs. For those interested in sunsets, go to the top of the levee across the street from the entrance, you wonts be disappointed.

Beautiful, Clean State Park

This is our second time staying here this year. It is a clean, well kept park and literally in the middle of a low populated area of FL. West Palm Beach is about 45 minutes to the east and Ft Myers is a little over an hour to the west. Belle Glade has a Winn Dixie and several fast food restaurants. Clewiston (about 17 miles from South Bay) has a Walmart and several fast food restaurants.

Peaceful Resort NATURE A+

Very charm and well organized. Great rangers, very responsive and helpful. Great for kids, lots of playgrounds, beautiful sunrise and amazing sunset from Lake Okeechobee ramp. 5 ?.

Hidden Gem.

Nice gated county Park. Well maintained park. Plenty of room between sites. We stayed an extra day because it was such a nice park. The county does a great job maintaining the grounds. Laundry and restrooms clean. Registration process a little long, but that's the county. I would recommend asking for a site towards the rear of the park. Hwy noise can get a bit loud. We were in Site 1, and would stay again..

Very well kept county park, noisy.

Stayed here for two nights before leaving for Key West (4 hr. drive). Facilities and grounds are excellent. Small fishing pond with bass. Gated access. Easy access to cheap gas/diesel just a mile away. Easy access to bike trail and boat dock. Very good price for full hookups. Noisy - right next to the highway, 1/2 mile from train crossing and near crop duster airport. Didn't care for the registration process. We needed more details for our RV than I'm used to providing for a registation and reserving for a second RV was cumbersome.

Stopped in here for a night stayed two. Lovely county campground on lake Okeechobee, clean, quiet and great free WiFi. Offers dry camping at discount rate.
