We stayed here for a week around July 4th 2021. The park is nice with lots of fishing potential. Plenty of picnic tables and barbecue grills. Bring your bug spray as there was an abundance of mosquitos and biting insects. The bathrooms were well stocked. There are a few spots for larger RVs due to obstacles so call and ask if you have a bigger rig.

Rude Park Attendant

Granted, we were confused on the proper procedure, but to be confronted with "What is your name? You can't just come in here and pick a spot. I don't know who told you that. I RUN the office. That spot is taken." The office had our name. The spot we were in was fine. There was no actual problem. The camp "host" was simply rude and confrontational. In addition, the women's bathroom floor was covered in an eighth inch of water. Will not stay again.

Beautiful

Very quiet, peaceful, clean. Had a great experience at this campground. Water, electric, and bathhouses were in good shape. Park attendant was very polite and helpful, and cheap $15/night (cash or check only). Boat dock available for easy access to boating. Little dark at night, some lights not working. Ants are not over powering just bring some ant spray. Planning for more trips here, Happy Birthday to Me!!!

beautiful small campground but stay was completely ruined by be overrun by ants we played for 3 nights but forced to leave 2nd by ants its ashame such a beautiful park

Nice view, quiet, but can’t recommend. Don’t know how long it will take to get rid of the ants that have now taken over the RV. So disgusting and the guy we mentioned ants to thinking he just might want to spray a little didn’t seem to be too interested. I’ve never seen anything like this. Stay away for overnights. Said I have to give one to five stars to submit. I wouldn’t give any if I could.

Fishing

Very quiet and spacious. Gate closes at dark and opens in morning. Only campers have gate code. 2 big restrooms with showers, plenty of fish cleaning stations, boat docks, boat ramp, big pavilion, and play ground. Lots of alligators so no swimming. Call for reservations and leave a message, they will call back.
