Fun
Nice place, a bit tight, everyone helpful and it's busy. Unusual as you can be right on the beach. Book very early if you want on the ⛱️

Camper Van
Came here for spring break. $150.00 a night. But had to pay 160.00 over the weekend because of Easter. It is a beautiful campground. We camped on site 509 by the north pool which is heated and theres a hot tub located at this end also. I used the hot tub every moring. Got there right at 9 when it opened practically had the place to myself. Very clean and well maintained. Bathhouse was the same "very clean" spacious, bench to put your stuff and two hooks. No fire pit on site but there was a picnic table and very nice concrete slab. We were able to bike to restaurants and stores. Alot of stuff near by.

Perfect Beachfront Campground
Absolutely love camp gulf. Have been there several times and will continue to return. The beach is amazing. Clean white sand is very well maintained. Perfectly located in proximity to both fabulous restaurants and shopping. Romeo’s Pizza, directly across the street, is a must.

For The Beach Only
Of course the beach was wonderful, the staff took very Good care of us. The bathrooms very clean and nice. Only negative is too packed together. Feel like sites are way too close together. Zero privacy. Other than that it was okay I guess…

Not Military Empathetic
We were so upset to see them flying the American flag upside down supposedly because of a dispute the owner had over the beach closing due to the coronavirus. Even after a lot of us expressed our feelings we were attacked and laughed at on social media by supposed friends of the owner telling us that they’re glad we’re canceling because it’s more sites for others. We stayed once and we’re going to try and stay again, but not now. As far as our experience when we stayed, the spot that they gave us we couldn’t level on and the and we thought about staying in a beach front site, but they’re so crammed in we’re not sure we could open both slides.

Expensive Beach Stay
Stayed here overnight on the beach front spot but wouldnt do it again. If you are on the beachfront one you definitely need a carpet as you are on sand. Very close to your neighbors and park is very crowded not a space to spare. The beach itself is private and beautiful. For the price you can get a nice hotel.

Fabulous Place
Great place they have a walk in beach. Big clean bathrooms. 2 pools and a playground. Lots of activities for mature adults, though none for children.

Great Place
Wife son and three dogs went the second week in Jan. Had so much fun we stayed an extra day. Perfect location for everything, restaurants shopping and entertainment. Great staff and the best bath house ever. We could throw a baseball in the gulf from our spot. Some spots are close but what ever it’s the best beaches in the country. Every thing we came in contact was positive related to Camp Gulf. We booked a week in the summer before we left. Place is awesome.

We Loved It Here
There are so few places to stay right on the beach and this was one of them. The bay was gorgeous, the people kind. We had sooo much fun. Thank you!

Great Place
Pricey, yes. Worth it? Yes. You are stacked in there on top of each other, but the beach is so close! Staff is super nice and escorts you in and out. Great place and will definitely be going back!

Too Costly
Why not stay in a hotel for 80 a night as opposed to here for 100 a night. I did .

Nice But Expensive
2 pools and beach access, super friendly and helpful staff. This is a destination camp ground, not ideal for overnighting. I would recommend this place for a beach vacation. Beautiful white sand beach.

Perfect campground. We stayed here for a week at a beach site but not beach front. Very easy beach access every day. We had full hookups but the bath house was so nice we used it every day instead of the camper. We are planning a return trip for next year. We looked at other less expensive campgrounds in the area including the State Parks. The issue is having to carry all of your beach stuff for a very long distance. Here it was only a 100 yards or so from the camper to the gulf water.

Great Place!
Fantastic campground with a ton to do. Beach here is gorgeous. Private bathhouses are unique and well appointed. A bit pricey, but nice place.

Just Curious
Why did 1 out of 10 campers give only 1*? All others gave 4 or 5. I’ve never camped here so I don’t have a clue if the 1* was legit. I read the reviews before trying to make a reservation. Could it be someone was sorry they paid over $100 a night or is the complaint legitimate?

Snowbird
First time snowbirds...stayed for the month of January. We were parked by the casting lake. Nice sites, beautiful beach, great facilities (restrooms, laundry) and friendly staff and campers. Very dog friendly - it seemed that almost everyone had at least one dog, and campers were very good about cleaning up after their pet. Our only complaint would have been the wifi...it was slow and often non-existent. But the beautiful sunsets made up for it.

Happy Camper
Stayed beachfront and loved it. Staff was very helpful. Took us to site and helped us get in and set up. Right on the ocean the waves sounded like they were coming in my door. I'm going back again. The sites are close and no sewer hookups on beachfront sites but that's all ok.

What a great place to stay. I am ready to book it again. Easy beach access friendly staff. It was tight to back into the site we had but the staff was all over getting you in safe and so helpful. The family had a great time!!!

Events
We came a week earlier, before memorial weekend and were very disappointed the slide was not available or really any activities until memorial weekend. Last year we had to watch them build the slide and not get to use it, then this year we just had to watch it sit there

So Disappointed!
We have stayed at camp gulf before , which was ok although small rv sites. This time we booked a couple of days and got rv lot 504 for a still hefty $100! A day. If you like: staring at the garbage disposal bin for the whole camp, listening to the air compressor at the maintenance shed being built right across from you 24/7, and all the Riggs stopping right in front of you to unhook, and a blind wall in the back, this is your site... also, 50 amp didn't work but got repaired next day ( old breaker ). The not so friendly receptionist also did not want to honor Good Sams, stating this site was already "a reduced price"... really? $100 a night for a garbage site? Quite a hike to go to the beach as well, and loud roadtraffic will keep you reminded what a mistake this was . Huge disappointment!

We went big on our first trip here and stayed beachfront. What an amazing experience! Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Campground was wonderfully kept. Couldn't ask for a better week at the beach!

Pampered Camping
From arrival until we checked out last year, the campground continued to impress us with their service. Better experience than Camp Wilderness (Disney) that we also enjoyed. Very clean despite being at capacity. Going back in a few weeks after last year's trip.

Novice Camper
Great location .... perfect for families in the summer. Excellent service (they escorted us to our site and helped us back in perfectly the first time.... Only complaint (and small one at that since we are camping).... WiFi is non existant... don't bother promoting WiFi unless you have the speed and bandwidth to support today's technology.
