As of Nov 2023, tent only. And the other side of the highway is the landfill. And both the power lines and the cell tower at the park will give you radiation poisoning— My radiation ☢️ monitor was going crazy.

We had a bad experience. Got there and the whole area was full of ticks. Changed sites and it was the same. I'm not sure if it was the time of the year but we ended up going someplace else. Bad experience for us. We felt it wasn't kept clean

Beachfront camping

There is only one negative about Long Key SP: like most places in the Keys, you are close to US 1. Only a strip of thick vegetation lie between the campsites and the highway. Otherwise, this place is bliss, especially if you have a kayak or canoe. The campground is just a single row of sites along the beach, so it never feels crowded. The nature trail in the park itself is wonderful as well.
