Stayed twice. Never Going Back!

Stayed at BWK twice, 6 months apart. The first bayside stay, was great. The site owner had kept the site in excellent condition. We had little interaction with the bad property managers. Though we got the feeling that customer care was not a first priority. On our second trip we stayed in a canal site. This time the site owner obviously had ‘let things go’. Examples: broken fan, 30% of light bulbs out, broken stereo, broken main light switch - needed a pliers. The list went on. Brought everything to management attention. Told they could do nothing, it was the site owner’s responsibility. Their attitude was abrupt and disinterested. Half way through our stay we were awakened at 7:45 am to CHAIN SAWS - several - doing a MAJOR trimming on ALL palm trees. NO notice and NO compensation. Noise, large trucks everywhere for three days. We noted our concern and received an arrogant and dismissive response. The owners buy a $1 million+ property and depend on rentals. If the owners only knew!

I have brand new $200,000.00 truck and Camper and am over 24 feet but not allowed to stay at this park .

Be Careful... No Refunds

Minimum vehicle length of 24’ interior length . Our travel trailer was 22’ interior and they cancelled our reservation and kept a $75 cancellation fee even though our reservations were 9 months into the future. We were told that the trailer tongue length was not to be included in the overall measurement (only living area to be included in the measurement) Very poor management indeed.

Worth Every Dollar

BWK was our “maiden voyage” when we bought our RV. Pricey but worth it. Private dock on the water was my favorite place to hang out. Grounds are beautiful too. Staff are fantastic and even arranged a car rental for us. (Car rental couldn’t have been more convenient). Absolutely will visit again.

This is a fabulous facility. The staff in the park are very helpful and accommodating. Can’t speak to the office staff.

Postcard Perfect

This beautiful park had it all. We stayed on the bay front and despite the rain storms, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The tiki hut was great. Thanks to a very attentive staff, our stay was looking very. Note- the fish restaurant 1/8th of a mile up the road was excellent. Called “Fish”. We walked from the park, twice. You’ll see it on your way in. Highly recommend this park!!

A True RV Resort

Many places call themselves an RV resort but this truly is. The Tiki Hut and the boat ramp at each site was so much more than we expected. We wound up spending all our time there. Fully furshinsed with a full size fridge, sink and stove and also a large TV. We watched the Olympics out there and enjoyed the sea breeze. Its amazing how cool the hut is with that breeze coming through. They have soft sidded shades which also block the wind. You can pull the door up to regulate the breeze and there are also 3 ceiling fans but we never needed to use those. They have a bar and a pool but we always just jumped in off our dock which was sandy bottom in about 8 feet of water. WiFi and cable were fabulous. Yes it is expensive but this one was actually worth it.

Wow!

A fellow RV'er recommended this place - we weren't really even thinking of traveling to the Keys! We were truly impressed with the site, on the bay with the Tiki hut. Only disappointment was the fact that all the hut amenities were locked up - including the canvas walls, tv, etc. Make sure when you book you ask if these amenitues are included because the price is the same whether you get them or not. Very well maintained and great location to many things!

We Had a changed for the other Place , no sink, no television, and was the same Price ! We asked why That one every supplies was locked and lady on reception Said That is my new place !! I asked my Money Back and she Said she couldnt !! I don't like people support ! Not kindly !!

GREAT PLACE!!

We go every year! It's worth every penny---outdoor living space is wonderful and very inviting.

We had a wonderful week. Beautiful, private resort. Loved our tiki hut, warm breezes. Just far enough from Key West, but not too far. Several nice places to eat out nearby. Very helpful staff. Will return.
