Amazing Florida State Park!

Love the setup of this campground! FHU’s, and level gravel sites. Grill nice picnic table, fire pit and a clothes line! It’s Small, quiet and clean! Can’t wait to explore the trails and River, after the rain stops! Friendly staff, and added safety feeling, with coded entry after dark. Far away from main road so no traffic noise. Occasional planes and helicopters. Foliage between sites maintained a sense of privacy. Also trash pick up at sites every day! Bathhouse clean! Dog stations and recycling stations are awesome! Easy to reserve online. So many great things about this campground! Thanks for paying attention to the finer things!

Great Place

Every park in the country could learn, “how it’s done”, by mimicking the high standards of this place. Clean with friendly and helpful staff and volunteers. Neat and tidy everywhere. The sites were manicured and edged! Trash was even picked up at curbside in the a.m. and no detail was left without consideration with white sandy beaches and beautiful water cascading through the park it was a delight everywhere. The only minor disappointment is that there is no recycling as we are enjoying the beautiful park at the cost of piling up a landfill.

Great State Park!

Beautiful state park. Campsites are perfectly maintained. Each site is full hookup with grill, fireplace, picknick table, clothes line, pea gravel base. Nice showers and bathroom facilities. Short walk to campers beach on the river, although it is to cold to swim right now. About 35 minutes to the coast. Nice quiet retreat.

Great Stay!

WELL maintained, manicured and level sites. Very nice and well maintained trails and boardwalk along the river. Beaches along the river are nice and sandy and the water is shallow and slow moving...at least when we were there. Restrooms and showers are immaculate. Nice playground for the kids, too. $10/night for senior Florida residents...yeah, plus the usual Reserve America booking fee. Will definitely stay again. One bar of AT&T service.

Cosy!

The campsites were well maintained, shower house very clean. We had weather problems and got to the campground a day late and they held our spot for us. We plan on coming back in March! It's a great place!

A nice cosy camp ground. Clean facilities. Private sites with full hook ups. Great for kayak or canoe. We'll be back.

Nice Campsites

We stopped for one night traveling back to California.. campsites are in forest and were spacious & level.. plenty of hiking trails and safe biking. We saw those taking kayak tours and wished we had more time, looked like a fun time.

An awesome place to stay. Friendly helpful staff. Quiet. Plan to gobagain. Our 2 week stay over the Christmas / New Year holiday was wonderful
