I love Lum's Pond! Easy in/out. I've never actually met any of the staff because I tend to arrive late and leave early. I don't mind it one bit because it's so user friendly, it's just easy! I haven't been in there in the summer but I've heard the bugs are bad. I'm a winter traveler mostly and I'm not sure if you can see the water when the trees are in full bloom but it's absolutely lovely in the winter time.
