Great Senior Price
$11 per night with my senior pass and stay can be up to 14 days! Dry camping....water is available to fill water jugs. Only thing I didn't like is its a parking lot....one paved road with parking spaces. The host is awesome...helpful and knowledgeable. Vault toilets cleaned daily. Great walking path around the peninsula. I stayed 3 nights in August when the Peak One Campground was full. Got last spot since it was a weekend! Very popular for lakeside views. Get there before noon to get a weekend spot.

Great Find!
We camped here for 3 nights. It’s first come first serve. We got a great spot on a Thursday. It filled up by Friday afternoon. It’s an asphalt lot with designated sites for big rigs and tent camping. The view of the mountains and reservoir are incredible. We chose it because it was a nice halfway point to our next destination and we didn’t need a reservation. We leveled perfectly, it’s great for bigger rigs. There are no hookups but water is available at the front entrance. The camp host was great. See him first before dropping the payment in the box.
