We stayed here for 3 nights and we loved the views from here! Place is well run. We had a spacious site with our 25 ft Rv. Community campfire was right behind us as they don’t allow campfires. There is a beautiful easy gravel walking trail to downtown which is 0.8 miles close to restaurants and hot springs and park. There is also a Steakhouse cafe open Friday and Saturday and an all you can eat buffet breakfast cafe open everyday on the premises. Breakfast did not disappoint. Telluride and Ridgeway and Million Dollar Hwy are good day trips. We would come back if ever here again.

Pricey , Not A favorite
We stayed 3 nights at this park. Here are the positives: Great location close to town. Well maintained and Harry their property caretaker is awesome!
Negatives: sites are very close together they just pack them in. No trees, so no shade. And when it's 90 degrees it's way too hot to sit outside at your site. Just no ambiance. Ok to wash clothes they charge $4 per load. That's nuts.
It's also kind of loud place where groups of RVers hangout. Dogs barking excessively in the night. Won't stay here again.

Great Owners
First off this park is not exactly where this app marks it. It is a longer walk from this park to the hot springs than it is from the other 4j+1+1. I loved this park though for the obvious attention the owners give it. They care about their customers and it shows. Staff was great and accommodating. Cafe was awesome food for breakfast. It is true that it is all gravel and we couldn’t have a wood fire but the spaces had ample room and gravel spaces don’t bother me a bit in such a clean park with a great staff.

Map Isn’t Correct
FYI. This campground is on the outskirts of town, not right in the middle when the map shows. Big gravel lot.

Beautiful setting, friendly & helpful staff. Close to Public Hot Springs & everything else in Ouray. Clean & newly upgraded facilities including restrooms, showers, & laundry. They also have newly constructed small cabins to rent for those who like that sort of camping; or have larger parties. Plan to stay for awhile.
