Great Park
We stayed 2 weeks back in 2021. No issues. We would stay again.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
When we arrived, we were taken the back of the campground where permanent campers are. The front of the campground is well manicured with green grass, flowers and well kept spaces. The back half of the campground is neglected with dead grass, dead trees and broken down really old trailers. (Got pictures to back up my claims) While we were setting up; a man across from us yelled obscenities, and racial slurs. We immediately went to manager and requested to be moved. Manager said, “ Can’t do it, all spaces are booked.” (We passed 2 open spaces in way to office. In the front of campground. ) We mentioned the empty spaces so we could move. She said they were booked. I said, “Well I’m booked too AND I’ve paid in full, so what about me.” She said there was nothing she could do. She told us, “Just stay inside.” We immediately called another campground (Montrose-San Juan Resort) who moved heaven and earth to accommodate us . Our rig is a 2018.

Super Nice Grounds
This place was really nice. Huge yards, beautiful trees for shade, well maintained. Just 20 minutes from Black Canyon park. Definitely stay here again.

Nice
All pull thru. Good shade trees. Immaculate bathroom and showers. Nice staff. Not great for tents. Good for RVs. No fire pits. No grills. Has picnic tables. Sites are adequate distance apart. Swimming pool.

We used this place to dump before heading on to Black Canyon South Rim. Great location, easy in and out, just stop and pay at front office.

Tent camped at this park on July 6. Staff was friendly and welcoming. At check in we were told that we could chose any site in the tent area as there was no assigned tent sites but we were not allowed to set up past a Mazda that was parked in the tent area. (She also states that they were planning on eliminating most of their tent sites. Odd statement at KOA) While we were setting up our tent another employee told us that we really should move to a spot beyond the Mazda because we would have more room. We did move into the larger space and settled in. Later in the evening many more campers arrived and set up tents very close to us having been told there were no assigned campsites. This is not what I expect to find at KOA and will never return to this campground. It seems that they want to become a RV only park. Very disappointed in this park.

Super Nice! Great Staff!
Stayed here as we started our southwestern Colorado trip and we were very happy with the campground and especially the staff! The staff went out of their way and even took my husband and I over to the airport to pickup a rental car for our trip! Great place to stay!

Nice
One of the best maintained parks we've stayed at. Nice and quiet. Wifi is sketchy. Lots of trees.
