Met Some New Friends

It was our original stop planned. But as most of you know, there can be some interruptions along our journey. Exploding tire (China bomb) then underbelly fell off. Anyway, they let us use our missed stay as our next day stay. Award points. The KOA is sparse. But it is sparse country. We met a very friendly Lady in one of the dog parks. We ate at a very good restaurant. Oscars Bar. We were able to fix our trailer brake problem and head to Steamboat. All was well.

$53 For A Big Nothing

Very close to neighbor, unlevel sites, Internet very weak. All and all a very expensive overnight stay thought I was in Kansas.

Nice Stay

This was a very nice KOA. Staff was nice, it was clean and quiet. Would stay again when passing through. My only complaint is that staff were displaying their political views... I try to leave that behind when I’m on vacation.

NOT The KOA From 2019!

Feel free to visit this KOA. After only 2 choices in the area and reading the updated review we gave it a shot. Sites are long, park is clean, check in easy and host extremely pleasant which was a comfort having driven the terrible roads in I-25. They are renovating the dog park which looks pretty cool. Whoever took this over is clearly investing and gas a vision of a nice place to stay.

Nice People

Made a mistake with the date when I made reservations traveling to Colorado. Arrived at Limon Co. On the 22nd and found that I had made the reservation for the 21st. No problem, I got credit for the reservation I had missed. Lot of improvements being made to the property. I believe the management is new to this site.

Not All Parks Are Created Equal

Park is a run down, Pull thru spots are a positive, but there is little shade (not all spots are shady) trash, tools and misc items all around. Facilities were run down and dirty!! Not dog friendly as the “dog walk” they’ve allocated is along the road, dirty and overgrown flees/ticks! Don’t walk your dog here! Staff was just hanging around inside having coffee and soda and not very friendly at all! Won’t be back. This is not the typical KOA we have experienced in the past. Most KOAs are wonderful with very friendly staff and lots to do for children and your pets! Just drive to Denver, def not worth it!! So disappointed!

Not reliable.

Messed up my reservation during season when everything's full and did not try to fix it or even apologize.

Reserve Early

We stayed here one night we stopped with a reservation at about 4:30 it was half full and filled up by 7. We saw at least 5 RVs pulled in with No Reservations that were turned away. Nice pool - easy pull through but not a lot of room. Sites were level and gravel.

Nice Stop Over

Nice place to stop over, easy access from I70 but not much highway noise. Long narrow sites. $6 pancake and sausage breakfast and free coffee.
