Mr
Spent 2 nights here waiting for passes to be cleared after early season snow in Monarch and North passes. Best WI-FI I’ve seen in a campground. Effortless streaming of Netflix and others. I am much happier with good WI-FI and not getting CATV. They have animals loose in the campground. A miniature donkey wanted to take up with us because we made the mistake of feeding him an apple. Very nice folks in the office. I suspect this is a muddy place with a heavy rain, but we were fine with light rain and light snow later on. Would stay here again. Did I mention how great the WI-FI was? Gave four stars because rough roads and dirt sites.

Super Clean! Love All The Farm Animals!
Stayed here for a MTN Bike trip...stayed in the A frame cabin, close to roughing it without the tent! Cabin was clean and had electricity, a fan if it got warm and a small heater if you got chili. Had a lit fire pit every night! As for the campgrounds they were very clean and the showers were clean as well! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only 4 Stars cuz of airport but it was quiet at night...only annoying part was the Osprey running drills during the day. Would definitely stay here again!

Needs Help
Stayed overnight mid September. Interesting comment of not to Put patio mats on the grass as it harms it, but it is ok for RV’s to drive all over it and create ruts. Basic KOA charging more than they should for what you get. Interior roads are mostly rutted dirt with good sized mud holes and very uneven. Kids playground did not look very safe, vending machines in laundry room were totally empty and the store carried a very small amount of cold drinks. The laundromat had small washers and dryers, but they got the job done after you kept putting more money in. Our first and last time there. Better CG’s in the area than this one around zBlue Lakes Mesa Area. If you are just looking for an I. And out, this will probably do but I would not spend time here. We were in a MH towing.

Repeat Camper
We have stayed here every year for the past 5 years. The owner is very pleasant and the kids love the animals (especially the donkey). There are many things to do within a reasonable driving distance. Our kids enjoy the playground at the KOA as well as the bigger one in town. The price is consistent with other campgrounds in the area. Will continue to visit here in the future.

Nice place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spot had grass. Although the campground is right next to the airport, only heard one plane. Nice little pond in front of our site. Very quiet park, even for spots being close. Would stay again. Very pet friendly as well.

New owners???
This KOA needs some TLC. It has potential and perhaps they are new owners and trying to stay in their budget. You can see they are trying, there is new sod being laid in some of the sites. The roads are in desparate need of new gravel. The dog park is large enough but has not been maintained and the fence has some places that my shih-a-poo could just walk right. There is just a large sand box area for a play ground. There is plenty of room for lots of kids things, bouncy pillows, miniature golf, a swing set, etc. The pond is almost unaproachable, put a walk path around it with some benches, make it a fishing pond for the kids. Maybe in a few years if they keep working at it, it could be a nice park. They do have grass in most places and there are trees in places for shade. The price was pretty high for what you really get.
