Pros, office personnel very friendly on the phone and in person. Large level F/H sites that accommodated our coach and toad without unhooking. There is a play ground for the kids. Relatively close to Walmart, shopping, and restaurants. Cons, lots of gravel even the two dog parks. They stress the use of the dog parks. Not a lot of room when entering at the office to stay hooked up and a little confusing which way to pull up. Disclaimer: as RVer it was manageable. The biggest con is all the permanents, it’s getting harder and harder to find a place to stay much less enjoy traveling without staying in a “trailer park”. We did not utilize the laundry or bath house. If we are in the area, we will stay again.

If you are interested in staying in an “RV Park” that gives you a site located between two full time residents, then this is the park for you! This is not an RV park for people who are looking for a place to stay while traveling on a nice vacation. This seems to happen more and more frequently. I understand people living full time in RV/Motorhomes. I just don’t want to spend my vacation travels with them. With that being said, if you decide to stay here I hope it is what you are looking for. The one star is for the front office lady. She was very kind. My new motto is to ask about full time residents when making a reservation.

Good Location
Good location for city restaurants and to visit National Monument. Shopping nearby if needed. Large pull-through sites with room for tow vehicle.

Butt Ugly!
Yes, the spots are big but how much gravel do you need? There’s a few small spots of grass but you can’t take your dog near them. The dog area is small, more gravel and as ugly as the rest of the park. There’s no scenery to look at nearby and it’s in the middle of an industrial area. Laundry is very expensive. Couldn’t wait to leave.

One Night Stay
Nice rv spot. Very friendly and helpful staff. At $53.00 per night though, it seems a little overpriced. Not a real pretty park.

Very Neat Little RV Park
Great little RV park, clean, well kept and spacious sites. Not all sites have cable TV, however local TV channels are pretty good. Very quiet park and close to major highways and shops. A bit pricey @$46/night. Other than that, a great place...will be back when in the area!

We spent 3 nights here over the Peach Festival. The entire park is gravel and flat. There are a few small trees but only communal fire pits. The facilities are neat and clean and this is a well kept RV Park in a industrial area. While we were there it was windy which I heard kept the usual bug problem down.

Cancellation Without Approval
May 2018. I had a reservation for two nights and they cancel it by mistake. They did not honor it even if I have given a deposit. They offer me an overload site where I could not fit my fifth wheel. They told me to go back 22 miles to Palisade Base Camp Rv Resort without any compensation. Lucky, Palisade Base Camp is a lot nicer campground surrounded by vineyards and the Colorado river with lot more space and grass.

Tent camped at this park on a very windy day,July 7. Very nice grassy tent sites. Nice. bathrooms and showers. Awesome staff checked on us several times during the wind storm. So nice to have people care about the comfort of their guests.

Gem Of A Park
Spacious, level, pebbled sites and wide access lanes. Clean and well laid out. Hookups safe and kept in good repair. Baths and showers clean. Pet friendly. WiFi signal coverage superior, with camp feed bandwidth surprisingly adequate for an RV park. Well-rounded camp store. Friendly staff. Wish I could have stayed longer. On my must-return list should we ever be up this way again.

Nice park, Nice city
We very much enjoyed our stay at this RV park. They have enough gravel on the ground to keep the dust and mud covered. Great dog runs, one for small and large with a grassy area if your dog like grass. Nice wide spaces, easy in and out. VERY nice staff. All sites are gravel except about 10 along the side, premium sites with a grassy patch. Size is limited in the side spaces, I think 35ft max. Their overflow sites are actually around their center lawn area so really if you use them with your door facing the grass they are nice sites. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to Grand Junction.

Helpful Folk
This is a popular place...arrived early on a Friday. ..around noon...only got an overflow site...were only 3 of these left ...very nice. ..brought out cones to protect our rv. .. people were being turned away right and left shortly after we arrived. .. showers were wonderful. ..we left books in their library and took one. ..would stay again!

Good Value - Clean Park
This is a very clean and nice RV Park, about a mile away from the I-70 freeway and no train tracks nearby! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Gene will lead you to your site and even pick up your propane tanks that need filling and return them to you at your site. The roads are gravel as well as the parking pads which are spot on level. With the back in sites you have a narrower and shorter site but you also have a nice plot of grass and a medium sized tree. We have a 34' fifth wheel and made it into a back in site, shoe horned our pickup in front. When using the back in watch out for the green split rail fences began the pull through sites they go right to the edge off the road. You can tell by the attention to the laundry, store, restrooms, showers, office, grass, book and game libraries that the owners really care about you.

Tents For Troops
This park is part of tents for troops. They support our troops and have a beautiful camp ground. Everyone is friendly and is there to make your stay enjoyable. The showers and restrooms are very clean and the sites them selves are very nice. I will be back. ..
