Nice Area To Walk
The campground was cramped, but it’s a beautiful area and there were lots of areas to walk my dogs. We did have an issue with Google Maps sending us to a different location (possibly in the back of the park) so use a real map to get here.

Quiet, Pretty, better for Small Rigs
Easy access off I-70, quiet campground. We had a 28-ft trailer and barely made the turns - very tight maneuvering. Site not level but able to level rig. Staff very nice and hepful.

It Works
Our site was not level. Close to I70 but was quiet. Need to pay to use the shower. Bathrooms were clean. Worked for us in a pinch.

Relaxing
We stayed for a weekend and we're not able to get the same site 2 nights in a row but both sites weren't bad. Lots of trees for shade and despite I70 being so close it wasn't noticeable. Friendly staff. A very nice family hike across the street from the entrance takes you on the Chief Hosa South Loop. It takes you to the bison viewing area and I saw 2 mule deer also. A large herd of Elk walked down off the mountain last night. I didn't use the bathrooms so I can't comment on that. No sewer hook ups but a dump station that costs $23. They explain why the high cost at check in. A communal fire pit only because of fire danger I suppose. We had a relaxing time and plenty to do and see nearby. Not 5 stars but I'd come back.

All dirt roads and camp sites. No sewage connection...$23 to dump. Coin showers. No mowing done this year. 4 foot weeds.

Calms the soul
Stayed for a week here while daughter was playing softball. Beautiful park. Gets a bit cool at night (in July?). Dump station at the park, but they charge $23 to unlock it. Restrooms were nice. Park has many trees. We did have to change spots during our stay, but it wasn’t a big deal. I will stay here again.

Awesome Campground
We stayed three nights here with three campers in a row and had the best stay! Said lots of rules but really not enforced. Laurie at the front is amazing and very good at accommodating! Beautiful trees and a community fire pit which was awesome! We stay here again for sure.

Guardian Of The HOG
I stayed here one day last year. It was a nice Campground and I think anyone that didn't like it is just a hater that should shut up. I thoroughly enjoyed it with good clean showers

WORST CAMPGROUND IN AMERICA
Okay. This place deserves zero stars. First off, WHY IS THERE A NIGHT REGISTRATION IF THE HOOK UPS ARE LOCKED?? Second, if I'm paying $40 to sleep in an RV with no hook ups (quiet hours prevent generators) why am I expected to pay for a 4 minute shower? These things should be stated at registration or anywhere before I walk to the shower empty handed. To the people who said it was the restrooms were clean, you obviously have no standards. They're not clean but, I would say they are as clean as they are because no one wants to pay for a damn shower when they're already paying for everything else. The people who run this place seriously nickel and dime everything possible. After reading the rules and regulations I couldn't help but laugh at how stupid they are. Oh and $23 to dump? Wow. After paying the site fee to find a locked box, I'd expect a refund. STAY ANYWHERE OTHER THAN THIS PLACE!

Beautiful area
Beautiful area, great hosts, the cleanest bathrooms I've seen in 2 years of full time rv living! The sites are unlevel though work is being done on them and the dump fees are very high (hence the 3☆'s) and in my opinion, should be included in the price as sites are water and electric only.
