Great Place

We were fortunate to get a spot as the entire place was booked with many spots having 2 week reservations. Despite it being full, it never felt "busy" and was always quiet. You can get gas, groceries, or even a meal at various close locations.

Beautiful Lake And Campground

Had a great time camping at Dowdy Lake in Aug. Campground was full but didn't feel crowded, and it was very clean. Had an RV site with 30 amp hookups. Site was close to water spigot, bathrooms (pit toilets) and trash, which was nice. Camp hosts had firewood for sale near entrance. Hiked Mount Margaret trail - long but easy hike/walk to great views. Saw plenty of fish in Dowdy Lake, but couldn't get any to bite. Gas & groceries a short drive away in Red Feather Lakes. Beautiful golf course nearby as well (Fox Acres).
