We just returned from 6 days at Caton campground in the San Juan national forest. The campgrounds are featured large open spaces, lots of privacy near the Dolores river. There were spaces with 30 and 50 amp electrical service. These were located on the A Loop.
There was drinking water, pit toilets and good campground cleanliness. Campground hosts were good!. I would return.

First time here. Loved the location, spots were easy access, with lots of room between you and your neighbor, close proximity to lots of hike, Telluride is about 25 minutes away. Public toilets were very clean and well maintained, water from the taps was great tasting, dump station there with easy access. (Extra fee to use) would love to come back again.
