Surprising Gem

We only stayed here one night, but thus was a beautiful place to stay. They have put a lot into improving their campground and it certainly shows. Big rig friendly indeed and very family friendly with a large playground, gorgeous pavillion with comfortable furniture and really nice concrete walkways around the park at down at the river. Also at the river are a couple really nice gazebos to sit and take a break. Highly recommend staying here!

Just Beautiful

Stayed here for 2 nights. This place is absolutely beautiful. Would definitely recommend to anyone! While here we saw deer crossing the river and an eagle. Staff were all very nice. They have a nice walking path around the campground. The only thing I would say wrong is there laundry facility isn’t the best, but luckily I had plenty of quarters and did eventually get my laundry cleaned and dried. Hated to leave but onto more adventures.

Wow!

While the 2 front rows that hug the shoreline of the beautiful Rio Grande do not have sewer, you can pay to have your tanks pumped so you don't have to move. I don't care for concrete pads so these are the best sites all under shade trees. Level, updated electrical and water connections, and the quietest place I've been in a long time. Full timers in the back rows even have quiet cars when leaving for work so you can hear the river running by when you wake up. Should have stayed more than 4 days. I'll recommend to everyone. A fisherman's dream site.

Nice Park

Stayed here 2 nights. Management is very nice and helpful. Met the owners nicest people. They have made a lot of improvements and more to come. Park is by the river very quiet. Nice lots. A little close. Will definitely stay here again.

Camping

This is a very nice campground. The river is beautiful and the walking trail is nice. The owners could not be more friendly and kind. Would highly recommend this place. We certainly plan on another trip here in the future.

Water, Trees, Deer, and Chill!

Stayed here 3 months (March-June) and enjoyed it! Sites are relatively small except for some of the river sites. New sewer and electric, which are placed to far in, requiring your rig to be pulled all the way through and having to park behind your trailer. No biggie, just different. Full hookup at all sites except for river sites (elect and water only), but they have a honey wagon service option! Lots of wildlife to keep you entertained! Large trees along the river with plenty of shade and soothing music as the wind blows through them! Fishing on the Rio Grande! Very clean bathrooms and large laundry facility. Fantastic location to allow day trips to some of the most beautiful places Co has to offer! The camp host and the staff are AMAZING PEOPLE!!! We will stay again, and again, and again!!!

Nice Place

Quiet, lots of trees and next to the Rio Grande River. The host who are friendly and very accommodating, let me pick out my spot. Right on the river. No sewer hookup. They do have a dump station. Water and Electric 30 amp and 50 amp available. Water pressure is high, so have a water regulator. Fee ranges from $32 to $41 depending on location. I stayed here one night during the week, but I highly recommend. I'd stay here again.
