Awsome And Busy

Well off the paved road, it earns its name as it seems to take forever to get too. Very popular destination, lots of sites but use rec.gov to get your spot as first come first serve will fill quickly. Water hydrants available for filling up cans. Vault toilets and gray water disposals for dishes. Lots of wildlife in the area, Rio Grand runs by and resivoir 1 mile up the road. Host we had there was very knowlegable and were from my dad's town, small world. Good hiking and 4wd trails in area.

Great, helpful hosts. Cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen at a campground. Great location for hiking and fishing.

Been here several times, good fishing close by, lots of hiking, water and bathrooms.

Very nice and peaceful place. Will definitely return
