Alvarado CG

Got a bit of snow and sleet overnight. Very nice setting with views east over the Wet Mountain Valley. Only about 10 miles from Westcliffe if you need anything. Some sites are better for tents and some better for RVs. Vault toilets clean and good water taps for you to fill up. Good hiking trails nearby. Will come here again.

RV Trip

Pulled our 35 ft fifth wheel here for two nights. A little tight maneuvering to get parked, but doable. Steve, the camp host, was very nice and helpful. Great views, great star viewing and restrooms were very clean. Unfortunately, the wind blew for most of our stay and the dirt road made for a dust bowl. Otherwise, nice place and will try to plan another trip with better weather.

Good Views

Nice high altitude camp (9000+). Good views of Westcliffe and the valley.

Great place. So serene. Bathroom was clean and didn't stink. Definitely will be back sooner than later.
