This is a good overnight stop or a base for exploring Great Sand Dunes National Park and Fort Garland. The people are friendly and helpful. The sites are crowded, gravel/dirt, and somewhat level. There are a high fraction of workers living here, but they did not create a problem. Road noise is high and the railroad on the other side has it's noise 3, or so, times a day. The back side of the property has a self serve storage building and RV storage area. Trees provided windbreaks and shade. WiFi is iffy. The showers are clean enough for their age and maintenance level. This park is in need of maintenance and renovation. We stayed here in a 25' travel trailer to explore the Dunes about 25 miles away.
