Great Space !

We had a great overnight at this camp, wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all it has to offer! The sites were all concrete pads as far as I could tell, and all were level and very well kept! The bath houses were exceptionally clean as was the laundry facility and a bonus drink and snack machine room. We walked some of the trails which were very nice and even, good for our elderly dog. I can’t recall if there was internet, as we spent most of our time outside enjoying our dinner and the stars and bird calls. Very quiet at night. Camp host friendly but not intrusive . Would def recommend !

Nice And Quiet

The sites are large and the staff were nice, clean, quiet, they were very upfront about the state park fee, $51 per night for full hookup well worth it as the temperature was 99 today

This is a beautiful, serene area - a hidden treasure really. So close to everything Denver has to offer. Spacious sites, beautiful shower and laundry facilities. Amazing, friendly volunteers. Book well in advance for full hook ups.

Best option in the Aurora area. Denver TV stations without cable. Clean bathrooms but fee for showers. We were there during a snowstorm so stayed in our RV other than driving to dinner.

Great Park. $30/n Boondocking

Sites spaced apart nicely. Volunteer staff friendly and do great job maintaining sites & batheoom. Place was already booked up so we took a site in Cottonwood Grove loop without water or electric. Not only are fees for camping, they charge park pass, dog park & for showers. If they could charge for sunshine they probably would. Bought annual access pass for $80 versus spending for daily. Will use lots more this summer.

Nice State Park

$41 for campsite, $10 for entrance fee. You have to pay for shower. Nice and level campsite. 19 miles to the city

Great spots for the price!!! You are not gonna find full hook up at $30/night anywhere else in Denver!!

Beautiful And Unexpected

Wow! In the middle of Denver you can camp (tent or RV)! This was a beautiful place with a large lake for swimming, fishing and boating...such a surprise! I paid $50 for two nights without hookups but there was a table and fire ring. I found out the hard way that reservations can be made from 6 month to three days of your stay. I did not know this and tried to get a reservation one day in advance but was told that reservations were closed but I could try for a "first come first serve" spot starting at 1:00pm so I drove my c class as fast as I could and got the last two night spot!! I thanked God because it was a gorgeous place and delightful stay!! I will definitely be going back to the Cherry Creek State Park next summer.....with the proper reservations. I was told that they fill up fast....so....book early!

This Is The Place To Stay

Wow - concrete pads, 50amp, water and septic. Spaces are far apart and deer at dawn and dusk. Very nice park.

Such a Pleasant Place!

A gem to find this place in the middle of suburban sprawl. Stayed 2 nights and local friends came out to visit and were impressed this campground was in their backyard! Great facilities, didn't even plan on having wifi but it was great most of the time and we were in a nice spot#120 (no hookups but didn't really need)

One of the better camps I have been to here. The staff is wonderful, it is very green and pleasant, great spots with tables and nice views. Level and clean sites. Laundry AND change machines !! So awesome. Wifi, like anywhere, just depends where in the park you are.. It is cheaper with the annual pass. I can't wait to come here again.
