Vehicles bring your levelers!

Beautiful place. Nice space between sites. Most asphault, some even concrete. Big rigs might want to take a pass. Freeway & train noise loud but wasn't a bother when sleeping. Trails and hiking abound. One lane road up to vista point totally worth it. Crags and Shasta views. Site 13 was awesome. Fit 2 cars, bathrooms close, and all asphault. Possibly a handicap site but not when we were there. Iron ranger takes cash & checks. Bathrooms dated but adequate. Showers huge! Thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay.

Castle Crags Campground

We stayed 2 night . Beautiful campground, awesome campsite. We will be back. The staff is friendly, the rangers are very helpful. The facilities are very, very clean. Showers take tokens you get at the office.1 token is 2 mins. I was very happy with our stay, can’t wait to go back.

Nice but pricy

We spent 3 nights at $25 a night. Pretty price but nice amenities. The loop closer to the vista point is way nicer that the first loop
