Site 60
Day 1 first time with a KOA. Very nice. Bigger sites so your not on top of your neighbor. Very pleasant staff. Great first day
Day 2. Working staff running around in golf cart very busy or just like the carts. Only draw back is site 60 sits on the corner of a busy campsite road with cars and service karts. Other than that love this place.

Beautiful ... But Beware Of The Route ..
Just returned to the SF Bay Area after staying a few days. The resort is nice ... clean restrooms, small pool with hot tub, game room, play areas for the kids and dog friendly. I also enjoyed the cook station which made it easier to prepare larger meals for family & friends.
It’s located about a mile from the beach ... which was amazing!!! We spent all day there ... waves were too big to enter, but kids had fun going ankle deep and splashing around.
Now to the “beware” part ... I would not recommend the route that most gps systems will take you. Avoid Mountain View Rd. especially if you are towing a trailer! We towed a 24ft travel trailer through an extremely windy and sometime single road (shared with oncoming traffic) up a mountain with sharp turns and drop off cliffs not far away. It was horrible! We made it ... but also learned a valuable lesson ... shorter distances are NOT worth it unless they are tow “friendly.” Leaving we took Hwy 1 N to 128 to 101. Much better!

Retired RVer
We stayed here four nights in August 2019. A very nice KOA with all the amenities. Manchester beach is beautiful but dogs are not allowed. We went to the small town of Elk and found a beach where we could let our chocolate lab frolic. The township of Manchester has a very nice grocery store and Ace hardware. The only downside to this park was the campfires that everyone lit in the evening. It felt like there was too much smoke. They give you firewood, so if you like campfires it is great. The cable tv was okay but if your looking for good Wi-Fi forget it. It is available but very limited. We will return with friends. It is a great place to get away from it all.

Great Base Camp
You can make this place your destination or use it as a base camp to explore the area. We've done tent camping or a Kabin for our stays and they have all been great! The tent spots are spacious, quiet, allowing you a great tent camping experience. The Kabins are fantastic. Electricity! Bunk beds, clean, secure, has a heater for those chilly nights. That was the best part for us. The cabin is the best option for those who have small children and want zero fuss. Just put your stuff in the cabin, lock up and head to the beach (or hang out). Maximize the time with family vs. unpacking. The camp has a lot to offer and has a family community feel. It's my favorite camp in the area.

Pretty Nice
The sites are dirt, but are pretty level. Nice playground, small pool, and community area. They serve scooped ice cream for sale. Quiet and bathrooms were ok. We only stayed one night. Cable is a joke, I think 10 stations came in grainy and wifi was non existent. Would stay again.

A wonderful place to visit and overnight. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed a extra night.
We will be coming back here with friends for a New Years stay.

There is plenty of space between sites as well as the normal arrangement of amenities that koa offers. The beach down the road is untamed and magnificent, we saw whales a few hundred yards out. Getting there is tricky but worth it in my opinion - 40’ class A
