Short Term monthly Rental During Winter
We had the opportunity to stay at this facility for 6 months during the winter months October to April, when the resort is in the slow season. It was a great location! We loved hearing the train whistle from the nearby steam trains going by daily (Roaring Camp Railroad). We stayed with 2 children and cats. It was a pet friendly spot. I highly recommend this for you if considering a mountain getaway. Our monthly rent was $1100 in 2019

A lot of spots are right on top of each other. But the staff was super helpful suggesting a spot. Check in was fast and they delivered the fire pit and box of firewood about an hour later. $5 pit. $9 firewood. The store was very limited. Better luck driving the 1 mile to town. These are the cleanest bathrooms I’ve seen in a campground. Very friendly staff. Limited river access. But we would go back.

Fun Weekend
This was a nice place to visit with a good group or people running the location. We have a 40’ Outlaw and we didn’t have any issues pulling into the assigned campsite. The town is close enough to use Uber or Lyft to get to if you don’t have a additional vehicle with you. We will be coming back soon.

This is a beautiful place! The manager and all of the office staff are incredibly friendly. Camping among the redwoods was a great experience. There’s a beautiful river down below which you can swim in if you’d like. There are constantly staff roaming the park emptying garbage and taking care of any issues that arise. They rent fire pits for five dollars total for the length of your stay and come around to empty out the ashes every day for you. There is a clubhouse which has a mini library, a TV, comfy couches, & a pool table all for use for free. Can’t wait to go back!

Awesome Area
We really like this park. The only downfall is the tight spaces. If the spaces were a little bigger I would definitely give it a 5 star.

Great Place.
Great place to camp. No pool. Internet work great. 5 minutes from town. Wonderful views. Price is competitive. One of the best places around. Manager not so friendly but office staff is wonderful.

Beautiful Park, Tight Spots
Can't beat the scenery... beautiful redwoods all around, the small river to rock skip, dog friendly. No dump station so we were advised to dump at an empty site that was at a lower elevation. The RV park right next door (Smithson) had a pool.

Pretty Nice.
Site #45. I liked it. San Lorenzo river separates this park from a state park, Henry Cowell State park. Sites are pretty close but the park is clean. Cable, water, level spots, sewer, our site had 30 amps, and laundry. Beautiful redwoods right outside your door. Shady. Trails to the river are advanced black diamond to deadly. Do not brings kids on the trails. Pet friendly resort. Felton, 2 min away, has some restaurants. Scott's Valley, 10 min away, has Kmart and many other amenities. Santa Cruz, 15-20 min away.

Nice Park
Nice place, spots though close still have a fair amount of privacy. Everyone that was staying there and works there were really friendly. Cable TV and hookups made it a please experience. You are in heavy wooded area, so it does feel damp and very dark even when sun is out. Overall good place to camp. There are firepits for rent but if you have one bring it along. It is pretty close to Felton and Scotts valley for markets to stock up, also there is a Costco at base of hill.

No Pool But Great Sites Among Redwoods.
We had a site between two beautiful redwoods. Kids could ride bikes around loop. Redwoods made a bit of division between sites. Good place to stay if you don't want a pool.

Madam
This resort is among the best that we have stayed at. Great club house and well kept grounds. We will be back.
