A True Desert Oasis
I'm not an off-roader so I had my hesitations about sraying in Ocitillo wells but this RV park was a very pleasant surprise.
The grounds and amenities are immaculate and well taken care of.
The customer service was very friendly, and the trees provided shade as well as privacy.

Wonderful experience. We have not been satisfied with lodging options in Borrego Springs so decided to take a shot at renting a trailer at Leaping Lizard. Good customer service, quiet and all sites were bordered by trees which is not the case with other RV campgrounds in the area. The WiFi and ATT reception is weak or non existent, but they warn you about it up front. Next time we go to Anza Borrego we will be staying at Leaping Lizard.

This is a terrific owner-run park with excellent sites. They control noise in their park by offering a separate ATV parking area. Hookups are great. Don't expect good cellphone reception unless you stand under their flagpole with the Verizon antenna fixed on top. The new swimming pool should be complete for this season. We really love this park. Don't miss the huge desert sculptures of primitive animals donated by the guy who owns Avery Products.
