Quiet and easy

Stopped there for two nights. Pet friendly. Reasonable rates (used passport America). Had contactless transaction due to covid so we just used their drop-box. Not much for amenities or for kids to do, but if you just need a place to park and hookups then this place was perfectly fine. There were at least two sites open between everyone. It’s like the RV’s themselves were social distancing lol. So because they weren’t booked up there was a lot of room and it was nice and quiet. We drove past another RV park up HWY 67 that was jam packed. Really happy we didn’t go to that one. Zero complaints from this experience.

If You Need To

We stayed here overnight on a long trip. Labor Day weekend so hard to find places. Owner was very nice. Small park. We could not get our water to turn on. It was late so decided not to address it as we were leaving next morning. Kinda dirty and several full timers which have a lot of stuff. Tons of mosquitoes. I mean you could not be outside for more than just taking dogs out (and we are from Texas). Concrete strips for wheels but grass in between. Luckily we were level enough and did not have to use jacks on grass.

Great Overnight or Long Term

We stopped here for just a short overnight. It is a quiet place (there are trains nearby, but no big deal). Sites are clean and they have concrete wheel strips that are very level. Everyone was very friendly and I would stay here again. Great price at $20-$30 for full hook-ups. It’s a good place for a quick overnight or if someone is looking for a long term traveling worker spot. I say that because I don’t think it’s somewhere I would spend a couple days to just hang out at the park. There’s not much in the park itself.

Mostly quiet except for the occasional train but even that isn't what you'd call bad. Clean sites. Some working 'full timers' that were quiet when leaving early. Owner is extremely nice and helpful... At times. Called for a reservation on Tuesday for the weekend. He didn't know if he was going to have a spot. Told me to call back later in the week. I called on Thursday as he said he'd most likely have a spot. I asked which one should I take and then question after question... When you getting here? You waiting to leaving after work? Told him we'd most likely be there at 9:30 pm. I like to close up my office at 9:30. Well that's fine, what spot should I take if I'm after that? No response. Do you run an RV Park or not? Yikes...

This was a nice quiet stop for a few days while visiting relatives in Cabot. The owner is a nice man.
