Campground is pretty nice. Several of the sites are "Y"s which I don't care for, but the ground is nice. Our site, E3, was absolutely covered with ticks. I easily got 40 going up my legs throughout the day. That's not including the ones I missed and the ones that got me. Over Memorial Day weekend it was crazy busy with boaters and day visitors. All in all it was a nice park with friendly and helpful hosts/attendants, but the combination of ticks, day traffic, and boats launching/recovering will deter us from visiting this campground again.

Good Experience Overall
BAD: Ticks and lots of them. Must have bug spray. Swim beach was really slick in shallow water. 2 year could not walk without falling. Some sites are on same pad and cannot use slide if parked on left.
GOOD: Clean park. Attendants very friendly. Park was quiet.
LOCATION: We liked closeness to basics. Dollar General. Gas Station. Sonic. A few local restaurants. Diner. Pizza. Bbq. Mexican. All within a few miles of camp site.
