Beautiful park. Only stayed overnight but we could be back for a longer extended stay. Our only complaint is the Arkansas website is horrible. We were on site 57 which backs to the lake.

Great Park
Wonderful park that is clean and well kept. There are 4 camping areas. A and B are in the woods. Most sites are very large and non are crowded. The down side to these areas is the distance from the swimming area and park. You pretty much have to drive, especially if you’re taking all the beach gear. Area C has water front sites and is closer to the swimming area. Some sites have water access for your boat. The best sites are 83-113 on the peninsula BUT book in advance, it’s popular. The peninsula also has its own swimming area that’s less crowded but smaller.

Super State Park
Wife and I brought our family here every summer during the 80’s and 90’s for 10 days. Park was closed for awhile, but it’s been remodeled, reopened and is fantastic. We love it, and the lake is gorgeous. Price is easy on the wallet. You won’t go wrong staying here.

Beautiful State Park
We stayed here 1 night other than it rained half the day it did clear out enough in the afternoon so that we could get out and do a walk around. We love the campground quiet and you not right on top of the next campsite. We stayed at site #56 it had water, 30 amp, picnic table, fire pit and grill. It was one of the those few sites that was close to level but other sites make sure you bring plenty leveling blocks. The staff are super nice and courteous. Bath house was really nice. The 50 amp campsites had flooded and damaged the electrical system so they have it closed til they get it back up and working properly. It's best to call and make reservations for a site cause this place will stay busy during summer. We will definitely be back for more camping here. Senior pass is welcomed here.

Clean
We just stopped on a return trip but will be back. This place is neat and clean, 1st class bathrooms and showers. There is so much to do at this , boat rentals, golf, horseback riding, hiking and more. There is a lodge and restaurant (we did not visit).

This is one of my favorite parks. I travel between Michigan and Texas and I often stay here.
