Not Next To The River!!
This is not even walking distance from the river. It’s placed high on the hill for a nice view though, but we came for the river.
Boat rental available, but you can only reserve a boat if you buy a full days use. ... and if you are not towing a car, you need to move the entire rig down there for it.

This was by far our favorite campground of our two week vacation out west! There isn’t a park or pool for the kids but our kids 12,10,8 had a blast exploring around and riding their scooters on the paved roads! Yard like sites with fire pit was so peaceful and the view is second to none! Short drive to Vegas and Hoover Dam! We wish we had more time here and definitely recommend this campground
They easily could have crammed in more sites but they didn’t and it was worth every penny!

Family of 6
The Willow Beach Campground was very good for our family. There was not a playground area or other activities but the natural environment was beautiful and kept our kids (ages 3 to 11) happily engaged when we were at the site. Very well cared for by the maintenance crew that we saw working through the day sweeping and getting sites ready before other groups arrived. Clean bathrooms and showers too, controlled by key card access.
Be aware that this campgound is within the National Park system controlled area so there is a gated access point right off the highway where you pay for entry or show your NPS Pass.
We arrived after dark and the campground hosts had left our checkin packet at the entry map stand in an envelope with our name on it and a map highlighting the route to our site.
The marina store was pretty well stocked with firewood and some last minute items. Grill Restaurant was closed during our stay.
We will definitely remember this locatiin for iur future adventures!

Awesome park. Great personnel. Great RV spots. No sulphur water as reported in October. Loved the area on the Colorado River.

Water
This is a sort get away from Vegas. Very nice people. Very clean spots. It has a store and a grill. It has kayak and boat rentals. There is a fish hatchery passed the marina. If you’re not in shape you might need transportation from the RV area to the water and marina. I give this 4 stars due t the RV water. It is sulfur water so it has an odor. I used bottle water for coffee.
