Just Great

First timers in Quartzsite and all BLM areas are terrific. If you do the $40 Long term permit it includes dump, water and garbage but only area that has that is at La Posa south on 95 but you can camp at any of the various BLM areas then go to LaPosa. We avoid the crowds so didn’t need to go that route. Park hosts all helpful and if staying just a night or 2 don’t have to mess with permits; just park where you can find a spot. We don’t stay put so no point in permit. Had to have tire fixed in town and American Custom Tire was good getting us fixed at reasonable price. Owner at RV Lifestyle was also nice and they served free hotdogs on Saturday which was good. Food prices were nutty at show. So great to have free stay!

Easy Access

The road pavement is best avoided. Most of the washes are easy to navigate with most any vehicle The further south you go, the less interstate noise. Pretty close to town for all services

Huge Area

Very large, level area. Lots of scrub brush and cactus. Easy 2wd access but roads and landscape are rough with sharp rock.
