Stayed here last year and the manager was horrible. She was the direct reason we wouldn’t return. We learned that she as gone and it’s under new management. It’s so much better here. You no longer see a dozen workers in golf carts driving around monitoring your speed limit as they go well over 5mph in their carts. The vibe here is so much lighter and not so depressing. The WiFi has improved 100%. They have social gatherings but we keep to ourselves during Covid.
We have stayed at Verde Ranch and it’s nice but extremely noisy. We won’t be returning there. It’s serene here and we just can’t recommend this park enough.
I almost forgot the best part, they have a phenomenal kitchen here. It’s gorgeous with all the latest appliances. I almost forgot that part and now I need to make some cinnamon rolls! Enjoy life

Great Base amp For Exploring
Very nice place, great WiFi and very clean facilities. We had a large, level site with a creek and forest behind us. Highly recommend this camp as a base to explore Sedona and the valley.

Great, newly renovated (2019) campground. Staff was helpful and courteous during our tri-chapter rally. Layout is distinctly Sonoran in landscaping. Sites are “huge”, back-in sites have plenty of space for my 35‘ coach, motorcycle and car. Pool includes a hot tub, bath and shower area on the far side of the park has a dry sauna in both the men’s and women’s side. Good Sam and Military discounts offered.

When I first read about a new RV resort in Camp Verde, AZ, I was excited to come. While the park is not new, it is under new ownership. In fairness, the new owners have done a lot of work to improve the place including a nice pool and clubhouse, lots of social activities, and one of the nicest miniature golf courses I’ve ever seen. However, there are three areas that need to be addressed if they are to be a great resort.
1. Dreary landscaping. While some landscaping work has been done, the blend of patches of dirt and grass that contains sharp thistles is off putting.
2. Shabby sites. The sites are made up of old, used train track ties that are connected by vinyl strips. The picnic table in my site was wobbly and had peeling paint. But the biggest problem is that many of the back-in sites are not long enough to accommodate a big rig and tow vehicle.
3. Unreliable WiFi. It was slow and frequently timed out. When I talked to the manager, she blamed it the guests using it too much.

Great RV Park. Employees are great. Susie and Carrie are very friendly and helpful. They had a wine tasting event on Saturday and it was fantastic. Park has recently been renovated. I would come back again.
