Coleman Lake Campground
Do not trust your Garmin or Google Earth coming into this Campground it sent me down 6 miles of one-lane dirt road to get to the campground in a 30-foot motorhome pulling a car I made it without too much difficulty only to find out that there was paved roads coming in from the south beautiful place I'll stay here again 8 half dollars a day with a senior discount

Overall A Good Family Place
Pros: nice spacious sites, host was very friendly, campground is very secluded, bath houses were fairly clean.
Cons:Roads to and from are rough, bathhouse push button shower will shock you, lots of poison oak in wooded areas, absolutely no cell phone service.
Overall the cons were not a big deal for us. We had a great time.

Great Camping
This campground is perfect if you want to get back to nature. The lake trail offers wonderful hiking or biking, and even has benches along the trail.
There are water and electric hook-ups. A dump station is located just as you leave the campground.
The bathhouses are clean and have hot showers.
The sites are well maintained and clean.
There is NO phone service out here. Not even a little bit, and of course no WiFi. (Great campground for getting outside and spending time with family.)

Visitor
We stayed here last fall for four days. It was the ideal campground. Access to sites were good. Prices using the senior discount made this attractive campground a reasonable choice. Located near Piedmont, Al made it a good choice for a Basecamp to ride bicycles on the Lidiga Bike Trail.

The campground was very pretty and quiet. The lake has a great trail around it and is ideal for dogs and kayaking.

Beautiful
While a hurracane coming to Miami Florida, we decided to do some camping out of state. This place was our home for 2 nights, and we loved it. Besides de stunning views, the camp offers showers. We will come back. I have to say that national Forest have the most beautiful campgrounds.
