Disappointed Owner Changed
We absolutely used to love this place, this was our home away from home all through the year. My family and Friends had been going there for many years up until the new owners took it over. They no longer allowed tents, why is it called an RV Park& campground? Call it RV and camper park because that's all they allow down in there unless you have an RV or camper then you can pitch a tent. Sure they offer a free primitive campsite that is not within that Park what used to be an old family gathering place and playground for the public has now been converted into the primitive park. It's just ground you have to walk to the water, there's no fire ring to burn a fire, it's just a piece of land with a little picnic pavilion on it with tables. Not a very appeasing place to camp in a tent. The people that run it supposedly keep check on it but the few times we've went with never seen anybody after we sign the papers. Their websites been saying cabins but still none for 2 or 3 years.

Name Changed, Great Place
Now it is called Point A RV Park and Campground. Helpful owner is great! Call him if he is not in the office. He is working around the park but has his phone with him always and will come. Clean, well maintained, roomy, very quiet paved pull thru sites. Best WiFi I have had in over a week of traveling. Full list of TV channels. A great place to relax. We will be back. Correct site is http://www.pointalake.com

Nice shady sites; some with concrete slabs. Situated on a small lake. Friendly/helpful staff. $40 per night. Would definitely stay here again.
