A Hidden Gem
This is a larger family run and family friendly campground with a small town vibe. Friendly seasonal campers welcome shorter stay guests. Playgrounds, pool, snack bar, small store. Friendly owners. No off-leash dog area but lots of grassy common areas to walk your dogs. Excellent security. Lots of rules but none are unreasonable. Only golf carts I've seen are operated by staff. Pefferlaw Creek runs thru the park, and the grounds are very well maintained. Close enough to the GTA but in a quiet valley away from road noise. Reasonable prices and nice large level sites with gravel pad for your RV and a grassy area. A good mix of seasonal and short-term stay sites. My only concern is the electrical power. I'm not an electrician, but I'm pretty sure I wasn't getting anything close to 30 amps at the power pole. You can't run air conditioning and anything else at the same time. If you can work around it, the place is very nice.
