This campground offers a variety from full hookups to remote walkin for tents. Contrary to park advisor details this campground only has 10 full hookup sites and not 80. These sites are waterfront but very close together with little to no privacy. The non hookup sites are not waterfront but some have water views. Unless you do the more remote walkin camping and some of those are on the water. There is only one comfort station with flush toilets and showers for the entire campground. There were two shower stalls on the women's side and I had to wait for one at 8 PM. I liked Loop A full hookup and waterfront because I could launch my kayak from there. I liked loop B because it was more secluded and still had a peek a boo waterview, plus the comfort station with showers was nearby

We have stayed here many times over the years and our opinion hasn't diminished one bit. It is clean and well laid out; the camp sites are large and private with a variety of sites with a view as well as sites that are nicely secluded. The only down side is the booking procedure which requires you to drive around picking a number of sites that you would like and then returning to the entrance and using the 'yellow phone' to speak with someone in Ontario to find out which, if any, of the sites you checked out, are available. Unfortunately this is a feature of most of the NS provincial camp grounds. However, once you are settled in we are sure you will be pleased.
