Great campground as reported. Got a FCFS site. Great coffee, ice cream, and sandwich shop in nearby Rock Creek. Add-on: we were paid up til Saturday, leaving on Sunday. We took a trip up Christian Valley for quiet river time about 20 miles north of the CG. When we returned. there was someone else in our campsite. The CG host told us we did not leave anything at the site even though we paid. According to the CG host, that is common practice in Canada. Luckily there was another site available. Overall, I would not recommend based on our shabby treatment.

Interesting Locals

Stopped for a night in mid June, campground was pretty empty, lots of spots. Sites are huge!! Lots of space for trailers. We tented and enjoyed all of the space in our site. Some sites have pads, some do not. Sites get nicer the farther down you go (25-45 area). Nice path through the bushes to get right to the river to watch the sunrise. Camp host was very friendly. Clean bathrooms (with motion censor taps) and hot showers. Privacy is decent. Not super close to anyone. There's a country/rock bar along the road to get to the campground which is full of friendly locals and happy hour! Our server recommended the RV park to stay but glad we stayed at the campground instead.

Lots of sites. Sunny and shaded location. Nice trail along the river. Showers.
