Worked For Us

They fit us in a riverfront site for $21 CAD. No hook ups. Basically a parking spot. Adequate showers and head facilities. Have stayed in a lot worse and paid more.

Not!

We stopped here planning on a hot shower and doing laundry. Laundry is closed and so are the showers. It is nothing more than a big gravel yard with a generator that ran all day and night. We will not stop here on our way home and suggest no one else stop here. Expensive for what we got. And no discount for no laundry or showers.

Water Isn’t Potable

Friendly greeting, we were a bit surprised when we walked into the office and saw the written notice to boil drinking water. Seems the water is a well and the water isn’t treated, since this is the first one we’ve ran into this situation we decided to play safe and connect up the water. Sites are very close together, WiFi is good, Park isn’t busy, at least it is dry so the ground is dry but turn muddy if it rains.

Inaccurate Advertising

We chose this campground because it listed a laundry in the MilePost. I called to see if they had openings and the price. I never thought I needed to ask if the laundromat was out of order. When we arrived, I asked about the location and was informed that it was out of order. Since when? Last year. I informed the clerk that we passed other cheaper RV parks because his had a laundromat and would like a discount. Can’t do, he said. We would have to backtrack 20 miles or forge on 40 miles. Not a happy camper!!!
