Cash Grab Joint not Veteran Friendly

Under it's new name Harrison River RV,this place has become nothing but a cash grab cess pool.I have a service dog and they tried to charge me 2.00 for her and then when they saw it was a pitbull,refused entry.Aggressive dogs.I tried to explain she was a Certified Service animal.Didn't care.Saw my Veteran License plates from TX and said just because I was a Veteran I didn't deserve special considerations. Their rates are astronomical for what I saw.. I would recommend any Veterans steer clear of this Sierra Hotel and spend our money where it is welcomed.

Beautiful Spot, Interesting Crowd!

The location of Harrison River RV is stunning. Set in farmlands, on the Harrison river. Swimming, boating, water sports. Great play area for kids in the middle green space. About half the campground is permanent residences or seasonal rentals. There must be rules in place for sites because they are quite neat and well kept. No old broken down cars or junk piles. But it’s an interesting crowd there. Lots of large dogs although all of them we saw were on leashes or contained in fenced areas. There was no night patrols so we were kept up one night til 4am with people next door around the fire, although luckily they weren’t too loud or obnoxious and the music was turned off. There is great walking and bike rides nearby on farm roads. The Circle Farm Tour in Agassiz has spots nearby and Harrison Hot Springs is only about 15 min away. Overall the people staying there were friendly and helpful. The camphosts were lovely. It was well maintained and a gorgeous setting.
