We stayed because there wa was nowhere else to overnight on our way to Jasper. We didn't require hookups and paid 24 US dollars to be in a tent site. The sites are tight and near the road and train. Neither were bothersome enough to deter a good night rest. Showers and dump station are and added cost which we skipped. This is good for overnighting, that's about it.

Cute Town - Extras Are Expensive
This was a cute little campground in Blue River (home of Mike Wiegele Heli Skiing). We stopped here to check it out and found the camp to be quite cute. It is cramped (as many campsites are now a days) and very dusty. They need to water down the road daily so unfortunately as soon as someone drives by there is dust everywhere. There is a cute little lake nearby that is ideal for families. You can rent paddle boards at Mike Wigele Heli skiing Resort and there is a swim dock with slides for kids. The only major downside of the camp itself is that while it seems affordable, you pay through the nose for any amenities. Shower and laundry are $6 flat (whether you shower for 2 min or 20 or whether you hang your laundry or use the dryer). Also it is $6 per dump if you don't get a site with sewer. All told this ended up being one of the most expensive campgrounds we've stayed at considering its not very big.
