Favorite Place

This was my favorite campground on our drive to and from Alaska. Nice park near water and the small town of Waterton. Good restaurants within walking distance.

Great Campground In Waterton

We stay at this campground almost on an annual basis. It's best to reserve a spot on the day reservations are accepted. The campground is well maintained and within walking distance to downtown Waterton. Watch out for gofers!

Beautiful Location

The location gets 5 stars. The campsite gets 1. I gave it 2 simply because it is way better than the options on the park boundary. You are parked in a field separated from your neighbours by a picnic table. Works well if you have tinted glass. Showers are hot. Bathrooms are clean in the am and look like my son's by the pm. Highly recommend Corner coffee.

This campsite is open like a field with trees here and there. You are a five minute walk to downtown Waterton. It is very much a tourist town like Whistler or Ganges. Beautiful walking trails abound - some require driving to. Fantastic mountains surround you - snow covered when we were here May 11, 2016. The campsite cost $54.00 for two nights unserviced. Well worth the drive to get here.
