Great Campground
Nice, clean, quiet and well run place. Choice of full service sites or none at all. There is potable water available and a dump station. Unfortunately, we stayed while the trains were shut down due to covid 19, but the gift shop was open and the restaurant for pick up or delivery right to your campsite. How cool is that. A very nice place to sit back and relax, or take a stroll down to the stocked trout pond, or walk through where the trains are...and even a chicken coop, where the restaurant gets its farm fresh eggs. We will definitely be back.

Camper
Our favorites place to retreat to for peace and quiet. Best-kept secret and close to Calgary too. A family run operation who have all the wonderful traits of rural hospitality. As previously mentioned, the facility has camping obviously and also includes a classic gift store, greenhouse, themed train excursions, caboose cabins, railway dining car, fish pond, locked -rooms fun to open very soon.
Staff are soĆ²ooo friendly and helpful. If u stay here, do yourself a favor and book a trainride too.

Hidden Gem
Clean well organized prairie campground. Quiet spacious sites. Group sites available as well. Great as a getaway from Calgary.

Nice campground in the prairies/farm fields area. Sites are gravel & separated by trees between each site, so there is quite a bit of privacy in each site. All sites are gravel, but not level so you need levelling blocks about 2-3 inches on the low side. Each site has a fire pit with wood available from campground hosts. Large clean washrooms with pay showers & laundromat, small store, play ground & a walking trail down to stocked pond. If your into real trains, they have their rail line and run excursions during the summer months. Also have railway dinning car with excellent food. Their is some highway noise from the trucks, but is quieter at night & usually you can hear the cattle mooing & coyotes howling in the distance. Their are also 3 beautiful caboose cabins which are available for rent should you want to sleep in a caboose at night.
