Good campground. Next time would try to get a site in the trees. Meadows are pretty wide open. Nice clean facilities.

Favourite Place

Our favourite place to camp. The park has many campgrounds, large and small lakes, a golf course, interpretive centre, gas station, multiple playgrounds, beach, hiking and bike trails. The park is still run by the province and the facilities are immaculate.

Elkwater Is A Wonderful Campground/Park

A park beside a small town-like cluster of private cottages. Several restaurants are in the "townsite" and The interprovincial park is wonderful and well equipped. On the waterfront the parks people offer boat and canoe and bicycle rentals. There are trails to hike. The elkwater rv service sites where I stayed have water and electrical hookups and a good dump station. I can heartily recommend the elkwater Campground in Cypress Hills park in Alberta!
