Unwelcome Center

This city has the best amenities I've ever seen. Unfortunately the city is laden with the most unwelcoming folks and parking policies. Upon arrival at the "welcome center" a small accented woman acting as a parking attendant barked "no overnight parking" and told us move our RV to accommodate the buses and larger rvs that weren't even there at 7am. We dumped and left instead. No need to entertain crazy. Paid $30cad for a DAY pass at Elevation Place and came out to find a $45cad parking ticket on my RV. The city shrugged its shoulders. Someone please tell Canmore that there are 24 hrs in a day, not 4. Ridiculous but good for a night or 2 only if you park on the street behind the free parking lot behind Main St. There you're close to trails, food, parks, and all others amenities. Leave quickly though as it appears they don't like the tourists who pay their bills. Sad
